The heating transition in the existing building stock is a joint endeavour that stands to benefit greatly if the housing sector, local energy suppliers and network operators pool their strengths. Housing companies and co-operatives will demonstrate exactly how this can work using specific project examples, in which heating solutions in residential neighbourhoods are planned and implemented in collaboration with local energy suppliers.
How did the project come about? What roles do housing companies, municipal utilities and other partners play? What framework conditions are crucial, and which lessons might be transferable to other projects?
These and other questions will be addressed in the individual project presentations.
