The digitalisation of district heating is now well and truly here, but with it comes an enormous flood of data. Meters, controllers, pressures, temperatures and setpoints generate thousands of data points per building connection station over time. These need to be structured, understood and made usable.
In this presentation, SAMSON demonstrates how data can be systematically linked and made comparable using metadata to create transparency at all levels. Building on this, intelligent analyses and AI-supported processes enable the automatic detection of anomalies, as well as the targeted assessment and prioritisation of problems.
Systems are not only analysed but also actively optimised, for example through parameterisation and operational interventions. In this way, traditional district heating substations evolve into intelligent systems and make a measurable contribution to more efficient district heating, local heating and neighbourhood solutions, as well as to optimised buildings.
