Where does German district heating really stand – between expansion targets, local authority heating planning and the reality on the ground?
In our presentation, we aim to take an honest look at the situation in Germany and carry out a reality check. At the same time, however, we also want to look at how district heating is organised in other countries. Specifically: Sweden. The presentation aims to explain how district heating has been developed there over decades and how it operates successfully. How it coexists quite naturally alongside heat pumps. A comparison designed to show what we can learn from our neighbours – and what might set us apart structurally.
