What is the “Eyes on Brussels”?
The Eyes on Brussels is a live platform for information that.Tobacco Europe developed in 2022.
On a monthly basis Tobacco Europe convenes a 30 minute live online session to provide participants with latest updates impacting the industry at the European Union’s level.
Typically, we cover topics such as the revision of the Tobacco Products Directive Review and the upcoming Impact Assessment to be conducted by TPD3, the Tobacco Excise Directive, the Single Use Plastics Directive , but also impacting milestones such as the COP and MOP, that are directly related to the industry.
Special attention is given to other newsfrom the “Brussels Bubble”, for instance the EU Commission’s work programme, the Council Presidencies’ programmes, change at EU Parliament etc.
This monthly platform is a perfect opportunity for participants to take the floor at the end of the session and provide updates they find insightful.
The participants to this monthly update platform are stakeholders of the value chain, from growers to retailers, machineries to manufacturers: all are welcome.
